Varenyky (Ukrainian: варе́ники, singular "варе́ник") are a kind of stuffed dumpling associated with Ukrainian cuisine. They are believed to originate from Chinese and Siberian influences, although sometimes they are said to be of Turkish origin. Varenyky are similar to Polish pierogi.
